Save Sleep

THE DELAWARE SAFE SLEEP CAMPAIGN

We all want to see babies grow up to live the dreams we have for them. We can all do something TODAY to help make those dreams come true. Follow and share the rules of safe sleep. Moms, dads, community leaders, health care providers and others can create the day when ALL of Delaware’s babies sleep safe. Long live dreams!

SAFE SLEEP LIVES!

According to 2015-2019 Delaware data, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, commonly referred to as Sudden Unexplained Infant Death (SUID), accounted for 2.1% of black infant deaths and 0.5% of white infant deaths. This means African American babies are at about four times greater risk for unsafe sleeping deaths. No infant in Delaware should die from SUID or other sleep related deaths.
