Home visiting professionals wear many hats — and even the most seasoned providers benefit from support. That’s where technical assistance (TA) comes in.
TA is a responsive, strengths-based approach to supporting Delaware’s home visiting workforce. It helps programs and professionals sharpen skills, navigate challenges, and improve outcomes for families. Whether a program is building something new or strengthening an existing service, TA offers guidance and tools to move the work forward.
TA can take many forms:
- Support for implementing new strategies or models
- Coaching to address persistent challenges in supervision or service delivery
- Access to training and professional development opportunities
- Connections with peers and statewide networks for shared learning
- Guidance on data, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement
Through one-on-one consultation, peer learning communities, and resource sharing, TA promotes collaboration, innovation, and growth. It also helps link programs to relevant tools, statewide initiatives, and other experts with deep knowledge in areas like technology integration, parenting curriculum, and reflective supervision.
Together, Delaware’s home visiting professionals are building stronger systems — one connection at a time.
