Transformative Talks in Early Education for a Stronger Future

On Nov. 20, 2024, Social Contract hosted Gathering for Our Future: Transformative Talks in Early Education at Delaware State University, uniting stakeholders in Delaware’s early childhood education community to envision a stronger future for children, families, and educators.

The event featured a keynote by Elizabeth Groginsky, Cabinet Secretary of New Mexico’s Early Childhood Education and Care Department, who highlighted the critical role of early educators in shaping communities.

Lt. Gov.-elect Kyle Evans Gay also delivered inspiring remarks, emphasizing her commitment to supporting Delaware’s youngest learners.

Breakout sessions covered key topics like policy, innovation, funding, and wraparound supports, fostering collaboration to enhance Delaware’s early care and education system. The day reinforced the importance of inclusive,  ongoing dialogue to build an equitable and high-quality system that serves all children and families.
