The Home Visiting Community Advisory Board met on April 7 in Dover. A wide range of updates were shared, including exciting progress across several initiatives supporting Delaware families. Key updates included:

  • An updated Home Visiting Toolkit specific to OB-GYN practices will soon be distributed statewide.
  • The Delaware Family Support Hub is live, offering resources and messaging features. The app is now available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
  • A new learning management system is in development.
  • Translation tools are being tested, with discussions around hiring part-time translators to better support families.
  • 211/Help Me Grow shared data on the specifics of the home visiting referrals they are receiving and processing.
  • Several home visiting programs have current openings, and bilingual staff are expanding services.

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for July 7 and October 6, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, at the Hilton Garden Inn Dover (1706 N. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901).
