This Fall has been busy for the PAT and New Direction Early Head Start (NDEHS) home visitors! We kicked off September with the return of regular Stay and Play groups, held at the Delaware Early childhood center!
Parents as Teachers staff traveled to the Parents as Teachers National Conference in October, held this year in San Juan, Puerto Rico! The week was filled with networking, inspirational speakers, and learning — and we also hosted two workshops! Congratulations to Theresa Mast for 15 years of service and to Christine Olley for 20 years as certified PAT home visitors, honored during the conference!
NDEHS home visitors attended the Making a Difference Conference in Dover, in October! In October, home visitors wore purple and hosted a special Purple Stay & Play to show their support for Delaware Goes Purple, which aims to reduce stigma and raise awareness about recovery and substance misuse.
