PAT New Castle County Has Much to Celebrate in 2026

The New Castle County Parents as Teachers (PAT) family is very excited and grateful for the return of Dr. Whitney Williams as our supervisor. Her leadership and vision will steer us in 2026 and the future. Families returned after a two-week break in December and January to enjoy Play Groups at Stubbs EEC. Dads have been in attendance!

 

A weekly group connection for pregnant and parenting teens has just started at the Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. (DAPI). In total, 10 teen parents have enrolled in the sessions, and efforts to enroll them in PAT are underway. One new parent educator has completed her PAT National training and is completing her in-house training. A second new educator will begin PAT National training in mid-February.

There are many things to be grateful for as we begin 2026!
