A Family AffairFirst-time mothers enroll in the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) program before 29 weeks of pregnancy and remain until their child turns two. A special NFP alumna, Robyn Lawrence, attended the June graduation with her daughter Kylee and grandmother. When asked, “What does NFP mean to me?” Robyn said, “Being a new mom with high blood pressure was scary. NFP was there to help me through Vit. Mrs. Marneda eased my fears and gave me the tools to feel confident. She addressed my concerns without making me feel clueless. I am truly thankful for her and NFP.”

Our leadership team attended one or more graduations to encourage us to continue our community work. Vendors and community affiliates collaborated with us for these events. NFP Delaware also worked together to celebrate our mothers’ accomplishments as they continue their journeys in motherhood.
