The New Directions Early Head Start UD Home-Based Program welcomed the spring season with renewed energy, as we prepare for the upcoming Mental Health Awareness Month. We recently hosted a highly successful socialization at the park, where Crystal and Guadalupe guided families through meaningful experiences in nature. Children had the opportunity to explore their surroundings, while families built connections with one another in a supportive and engaging environment. Our FUN Committee has also been proactive in creating opportunities for staff connection, and this day provided the perfect time and place to come together. Following the socialization, staff gathered to share lunch, relax, and enjoy meaningful conversations, strengthening our sense of teamwork and community — and truly reflecting the heart of our program.
