Male Involvement: Stronger Bonds, Stronger Families

New Directions Early Head Start is excited to share how we’re doing with our Male Involvement Connection efforts.

We had a wonderful turnout at our recent event at the park! Dads joined their children under age 3 for a fun and energetic soccer activity, creating joyful bonding moments. We also enjoyed a family-style hot lunch and read a special book about insects — sparking curiosity about the little creatures we might see in the park.

We are already looking forward to our next event at the Woodlawn Library. Families will be encouraged to sign up for library cards, and we will enjoy a reading activity that will be captured in photos for lasting memories. Weather permitting, we will also take a nature walk and explore the beautiful bridge and children’s area nearby.

We are proud to continue supporting strong connections between fathers and their children.
