Lasting Change Starts Here: Reflecting on April’s Impact

Child Abuse Prevention Month may be over, but our gratitude is only growing.
Thanks to generous support, April was filled with meaningful action, heartfelt connection, and powerful progress for children and families across Delaware. Together, we didn’t just recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month — we brought its mission to life.
Throughout the month, our community showed up in incredible ways. From a successful Guest Bartending Night that brought supporters together for an evening of fun and purpose, to an impactful 5K in partnership with the Office of the Child Advocate, to a record-breaking Champions for Children Golf Tournament blessed with beautiful weather and strong community turnout, your involvement made every moment count.
Beyond these signature events, April was also a time of deepening impact through education and support. We proudly hosted three foster parent training sessions, equipping 32 participants with critical tools to better serve children in need. We also celebrated Home Visitors Week, recognizing the dedicated professionals who work every day to strengthen families, support parents, and help create safe and nurturing environments for children.
