July Home Visiting Community Advisory Board (HVCAB) Meeting

The Home Visiting Community Advisory Board (HVCAB) gathered in person on Monday, July 7, 2025, for an engaging meeting featuring essential presentations and updates designed to support Delaware’s home visiting programs.

Highlights included a presentation from the Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) on their Out of Reach campaign, an update from our national partners on the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) Parents as Teachers (PAT) Pilot program, and the Delaware Family Support Hub’s app enhancements — plus several other exciting updates from TAPP Network. Attendees also learned about the new Home Visiting OB-GYN Toolkit and received updates on the upcoming 2025 Home Visiting Retreat and the 2025 Making a Difference Conference.

Following the meeting, Home Visitor Safety Kits were distributed to each program, providing frontline staff with essential tools to promote safety.

The next HVCAB meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn Dover.
