PCAD is pleased to share that the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) model has now been implemented across all MIECHV funded home visiting organizations in Delaware. Consultants have been successfully placed with Healthy Families Delaware, Nurse Family Partnership, and Parents as Teachers (statewide) and are currently establishing strong collaborative relationships with the supervisors in each program. In the next phase, the consultants and the program supervisor will begin working directly within home visiting teams, bringing reflective practice, consultation, and enhanced support. For those with questions about the model or its implementation, please reach out to Asaiah Beaman Fisher, Home Visiting Training & Support Coordinator at AsaiahFisher@pcadelaware.org.

Additional information is available online.

This expansion of IECMHC marks a meaningful step toward strengthening the emotional and relational foundations of home visiting work and ultimately supports better outcomes for infants, young children, and their families.
