The Second Annual National Home Visiting Week (NHVW), April 20–24, 2026, is a yearly observance to recognize and celebrate home visitors and the amazing impact they make on maternal and child health outcomes.

The Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals, an organization focused on strengthening home visiting and human service programs across the country, began this grassroots movement with nonprofit partners and elected officials across the country in 2025. Since then, many resources have been created, and involvement in the celebration has increased. The Institute has released the November edition of the 2026 Toolkit to help programs plan for this special week.
