Celebrating a Graduate Family
Mom has made wonderful and meaningful progress during her time in the Healthy Families Delaware program, and her dedication to her family’s well-being truly shines. Through the program, the family connected with valuable community resources that supported needed home repairs and aided with household bills. This support helped create a safer, more stable, and nurturing environment where the family can continue to thrive.
Throughout her participation, Mom received ongoing encouragement and guidance to engage in reading and intentional activities with her baby, strengthening early bonding and supporting healthy development. She shared how impactful it has been to have consistent support and coaching, especially during times when her own family support system was more limited than her partner’s. This steady presence helped her feel encouraged, understood, and empowered in her parenting journey.
Mom also expressed genuine appreciation for learning how specific educational activities are connected to different areas of her child’s development. Gaining this knowledge boosted her confidence and deepened her understanding of how everyday moments can support her child’s growth. Additionally, she highlighted how meaningful it was to have Dad involved in visits. His participation allowed them to learn together, reinforced shared parenting goals, and strengthened their partnership as parents.
This family’s growth reflects the power of support, education, and collaboration, and their progress is truly something to celebrate.
