Being a parent is a full-time job. Even the best parents still need some help from time to time. That’s why you should look into the Help Me Grow. Help Me Grow is a great system to connect parents and their children to needed services through a centralized access point such as 2-1-1.  Maybe you want to make sure you’re having a healthy pregnancy. Maybe you need to find a doctor that offers developmental screenings. Help Me Grow can get you what your family needs.

Dial 2-1-1 for Services and Programs

A great way to contact to Help Me Grow is through the 2-1-1 phone service. 2-1-1 can inform and connect you with services, programs and other resources. You can reach out while you are pregnant, when your baby arrives and even when your child is growing. 2-1-1 Help Me Grow can also assist you with food, housing, heating and more. If you have a child with special needs, the program can help you find services that specialize in what he or she might need. The helpline is always confidential. It is available Monday to Friday 8 AM to 9 PM.

QT 30 Changes Lives

As a parent, you don’t have to spend lots of money on expensive toys for your child’s development! You only need to commit to spending quality time with your child to impact his/her growth.  The QT30 campaign encourages parents to spend 30 minutes each day playing with their child to enhance your baby’s growth and development.  It offers many activities that let you engage with your little one in a fun way. There are activities for children from birth to 8. What’s great about these activities is that they allow you to set aside time to be with your child and teach them something. Each activity targets a specific aspect of their growth.

As a parent, you know that you should absorb all the information you can. Take advantage of Help Me Grow! Learn more about the program on DE Thrives, or dial 2-1-1 to be connected with many services.
