Father Testimonials

The DPH Home Visiting Team was interested in highlighting some of the fathers involved in the home visiting program. Theresa Mast is the Family Support Specialist for both dads, Will and Montel.  Theresa provides support and guidance for both families where these dads are actively engaged in the visits.  Both dads were asked if they would be willing to provide a testimonial about the program.

It’s an overall great program and a useful program. It helped us understand more with the way she (daughter) is and how to be creative with activities. I recommend it to all parents if given the opportunity for the program.

Get on the train and ride and have some fun with your kids. You get a lot of resources, from car seats to different events, ideas with arts and crafts, questions about certain things when it comes to your kids. You can reach out to your teacher, if you want to call them that, or your friend, and they’ll give you resources. It’s something that most dads are unaware of and dads from years past never had, and it’s great that single dads like me right now, makes it a little bit easier, less stressed.
