The Delaware Early Childhood Center (DECC) Home Visiting programs celebrated a successful year with Messy Night this past July. Over 125 people were in attendance to explore, create, and build relationships. A special shoutout to Theresa Mast, Lead Parent Educator, who spearheaded the planning of this event, and all the home visitors who helped families have a fun and messy time. Parents as Teachers welcomed three new home visitors to the program this summer: Alida Morales-Lopez, Beth Miller, and Krystin Cay. Congratulations to Beth Miller on her graduation from Delaware Tech this past summer. We are so proud of you!

There will be two August Stay & Play groups for families to enjoy before we take a break for the Labor Day holiday. Stay & Play groups will return in September, with one location in Harrington, at the Delaware Early Childhood Center. Keep an eye out for other exciting events for families throughout the fall, in addition to our regular Stay & Play in Harrington. Follow us on Facebook at Parents as Teachers, Delaware Early Childhood Center, for all the dates and times. If you would like a flyer emailed to you, please email christine.hoeflicholley@lf.k12.de.us.
