Delaware Early Childhood Center Home Visiting

DECC home visiting staff (Parents as Teachers and New Directions Early Head Start) have been enjoying the warm weather and getting outside with families to explore the community — and for home visits! We have celebrated our home visiting heroes over the past several weeks, first at our annual Early Head Start Spring Conference, then before and during National Home Visiting Week! Developing partnerships with community health workers has been a focus over the past three months, connecting with new organizations throughout Kent and Sussex counties to recruit and support families, as well as celebrating National Home Visiting Week. DECC home visiting staff are busy preparing for Parent Cafés and our summer groups!
