Delaware 211 TeamDelaware 211 (DE211) plays a vital role in supporting families across the state by linking them to the resources they need — quickly, confidentially, and in the language they are most comfortable with. As a free statewide service, DE211 acts as a trusted entry point for individuals and caregivers navigating complex systems of health, education, and social support. For families with children, this connection can be life-changing.

Raising children comes with both joys and challenges, and many families find themselves unsure where to turn when concerns arise, especially around developmental milestones, behavioral health, or access to educational support. That is where DE211 steps in. Compassionate, trained specialists provide families with personalized guidance that helps them move from uncertainty to action.

One of the most impactful programs in DE211 is Help Me Grow, which aims to ensure that every child in Delaware has the chance to reach their full developmental potential. Early childhood is a vital period for growth, and detecting delays or challenges early can greatly improve long-term outcomes. Help Me Grow works directly with families to understand their concerns; provide developmental screenings; and connect them with appropriate services, including early intervention, pediatric care, and educational resources.

This coordinated approach not only supports children but also empowers parents and caregivers. By providing clear pathways to services, Help Me Grow eases the stress and confusion that often come with navigating multiple systems. Families are not left to figure things out on their own. They have a knowledgeable partner guiding them every step of the way.

Families can easily connect with DE211 by dialing 2-1-1 on their mobile phone, texting their ZIP code to 898-211, or visiting delaware211.org. Community support staff are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., ready to listen and help families find the resources they need.
