Christine Hoeflich-Olley

Christine Hoeflich-Olley, Program Manager for Home-Based Programs at the Delaware Early Childhood Center (DECC), has been accepted into a two-year certification program for IECHMHC through the Erikson Institute. This opportunity reflects her dedication to supporting the social-emotional well-being of our youngest children and their families. Through this training, she will deepen her understanding of infant and toddler development, trauma-informed care, and family-centered practices. The certification will strengthen the ability of the DECC Parents as Teachers program to provide responsive, nurturing environments and guidance for both educators and families. We look forward to the valuable insights and strategies she will bring back to enhance our work with families and children from birth to age 5.

Christine has also been accepted to the Home Visiting Workforce Development Supervisor Community of Practice (CoP) and will participate in July with regular yearlong meetings. The goal of this CoP is both to strengthen Christine’s own leadership and supervisory capabilities and to identify tools and strategies that will strengthen the capabilities of her team of home visitors. Christine will also be presenting this year at the Parents as Teachers National Center Annual Conference in Puerto Rico, alongside National Center staff and the developers of the PAT Engage app.
