Make it a priority to always practice safe sleep with your baby in between classes, homework, and everyday life as a parent. There are plenty of ways to be sure your baby sleeps safe during naptime and every sleep!

Know the Four Rules of Safe Sleep. The Four Rules of Safe Sleep are easy to learn and are as follows:

  1. Babies should always sleep alone in a safe crib.
  2. Babies should always sleep on their back, for every sleep.
  3. Nothing in the crib with your baby.
  4. Smoke-free environment.

Let your babysitter know about the Four Rules of Safe Sleep. Babysitters are lifesavers when you’re trying to balance parenthood and getting an education. Always inform your babysitter of the Four Rules of Safe Sleep.
