Financial Empowerment

Providing financial empowerment services is crucial in helping domestic abuse victims gain healthy independence.

The Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence (DCADV) provides financial empowerment services to victims of domestic abuse. These services are crucial in helping domestic abuse victims gain healthy independence. DCADV also provides a warm referral to a community-based service: CHILD, Inc.’s DV-CHWs. Key to DV-CHW services is the availability of flex funds, which enable domestic abuse victims to maintain or locate safe and stable housing, meet their children’s needs, access health care services, and pursue education and/or employment opportunities.
