ABOUT THE 2018 ANNUAL SUMMIT PROGRAM

In addition to the great lineup of speakers and networking opportunities, three new features have been added to the 2018 Summit. Apply today!

Innovation and Interaction Center

This year, we’re taking a new approach to the Exhibit Hall. We’re inviting all conference registrants to submit a proposal to share a bold idea, a bold new program, or bold new approach to improving the health of women, infants and families. Grassroots, community-based initiatives are of particular interest. You’ll get to set up a table, share information, and talk to everyone about this innovation. Apply here.

The One Minute Pitch

Also new to this year’s agenda is the one minute pitch. Got a program or idea that will improve health and well-being in Delaware? Looking for networking opportunities and potential partnerships? All registrants are invited to submit a proposal to pitch their project to the entire assembly and live-streamed. Think of the exposure and possibilities.Apply here.

Community Change-Makers Panel

We’ve done panels before, but this special panel will be just for community change-makers, grassroots leaders and community action-takers. Those individuals who are registered as community delegates and working to improve the health of women, infants and families where they live work and play are invited to submit a proposal to join the panel. Apply here.

Nominations Open for the 2018 DHMIC Kitty Esterly Community Health Champion Award

Formerly known as the Health Equity Award, each year DHMIC honors both an individual and an organization that are going the extra mile to ensure health and well-being for everyone, regardless of race, income or social status. Do you have a person or organization from the state or your neighborhood that you would like to celebrate? Nominate them for the 2018 Award. Nominate them for the 2018 Award here.

Stay tuned for more program updates!
